Hundreds Of Dogs Saved After 15 Hours of Rescue in Beijing, China
One of many Chinese animal rescue voluntary groups and individuals' daily tasks is trying to prevent the dirty dealings of dog meat, because despite the dog meat industry has been there for, almost, ever, there are very few private farms to raise dogs for eating propose, restaurants serve dog meat dishes actually purchase most or all their supplies from 'local dealers' all over the country. Dogs sold to restaurants are mainly homeless dogs captured on local streets, and some are even stolen or robbed away from dog owners, besides, there's no difference between a mix or a pure-blood Caucasian Ovcharka, the price of all dogs are exactly same - 14RMB or even less (about $2)/kg.

The "battle" between dogs of animal lovers and Chinese local merchants just happens every day, but it happened here in Beijing, was a special and unique, but -

It 'was the first tweet on Twitter, the Chinese 15 at 11:00 am April clock that two volunteers from China Small Animal Protection Association found a truck full of dogs in Beijing-Harbin Highway and we were able to intercept them. The driver admitted that the trucks are in Changchun, Jilin Province, voice, and the total of 'orders' dogs of 497 restaurants in the vicinity of the city. However, only two volunteers who had almost completely avoid the truck and the police are not interested in helping.
