Have you ever gone to an animal rescue where the cats are treated royally?  Me neither.  Most shelters have stacks of cat carriers as well as a playroom with cat beds and cat toys.  The playrooms are crowded with cats, some of which don't particularly like being with other cats.  I thought this was pretty much the norm until I read about the Washington Animal Rescue League.

This place is a veritable Eden for cats that are homeless. Their philosophy is focused on recovery and adoptions. Each cat has his own apartment and not by bacteria resistant metal material. Instead, the glass doors are used. This not only promotes relaxation for cats, but provides excellent viewing for people who come to take. Each area has a few bars so that the cat does not look at things from different heights. In addition, each area has its own bathroom for their needs. What I thought was the most striking feature was the air system. They pumped fresh air into every room every four minutes. Well done!

Of course there is a games room, not just the typical cat playroom. This waterfall has a full height! Can I come and stay there? There are different levels on both sides for cats to climb and play. Did I mention that only cats who play well together put in the games room at once, and then only eight per game difference? These people have thought of everything. You have to get big branches that cross the game room, which replaced a couple of times a year. Volunteers spend time with them in the playroom to support them in their socialization. If I host a cat that seems to be what it is, I would not leave this place!

I am alone and scared with my brother in an apartment without food or water and there are many strange noises. Where is my mother? I'm cold and scared. I hope someone comes soon to feed us and clean up our mess. It 'was a time that we have our mother and the great man who has seen them eat. And 'the knock on the door. My brother and I are hiding in the kitchen and chills. I bark but fear.

I see a person looking in the window of us. There is a sharp break sound when the door opens. Two great people in uniforms are dark in the apartment. My brother and I are huddled in a corner, trembling and afraid. The people we get and are warm and snuggle into their hands. They lead us to a truck and put us in a cage with a blanket in it.
